German placard is a period of about 5 working days.
The Austrian placard is about 15 working days and the French placard is approx. 30 days.

On the other hand, in the case of France, an electronic confirmation of purchase when the badge is issued is sufficient – the waiting period for such confirmation is max. up to 48 hours.
Such a confirmation fully replaces the environmental badge, you just need to print it out and carry it in your car in case of an inspection.

In Germany, the fine for not having a valid badge is from 80 euros plus you still have to add an administrative fee of 25 euros.

In France, the fine can range from 68-375 euros, depending on the size and type of car.

In Austria, not having a badge is an administrative offense. The fine in this case can reach the amount of 2,180 euros.

The badge is valid indefinitely.

The placard should always be placed in the corner on the inner right side on the windshield.

In Germany, the obligation applies to cars, trucks and buses, but not to motorcycles and tractors.
In France, an environmental sticker is required for vehicles:
Motorcycles (L1-6), cars, motorhomes (M1), buses (M2, M3), vans (N1), trucks (N2, N3)
In Austria, on the other hand, all trucks, or passenger vehicles, that are registered as trucks.

The French sticker sticking on the glass arrives after approx. 30 days. Beforehand, we send an electronic version of the badge to your email address, which can be shown in the event of an inspection and fully replaces the environmental sticker affixed to the windshield.
